C13: Buyer page draft (pricing and "does Hypertune work")

For: Hoa (hand check), then Bobby (SEO check), Vinny (final run), Travis (Hypertune reviewer), Austin (claims sign-off) From: Som Tracker step: C13-0 Draft · Sunday 25 October 2026 Status: draft. Not published, not sent. Every price, trial and guarantee line carries [Austin to confirm], because N1 row 9 is still waiting on Austin's facts (prices, trial, results).

Sources used: the facts page mockup (E3-2, 21 Oct) and the trust page mockup (C2, 22 Oct) for every Hypertune fact and wording; V8 for the brief, the nine answer rules and the checks; N1 row 9 for the goal; V12, E1-5 and raw-ahrefs/calendar-2026-10-05/02-keywords-explorer-overview-us-guides-comparisons-brand.json for keywords; live hypertune.gg/pricing fetched 25 Oct 2026. The stale V8 items (the old Game Hub line, "Windows and Mac", the "CompReady engineer" author) are not used.

1. Brief (V8 section 4)

BRIEF: Buyer page: pricing and "does Hypertune work" Type: answer (V8 3.5)
Planned URL: https://hypertune.gg/pricing (rewrite of the live page; see section 2)
Publish week: week of 2 Nov 2026, if Austin's facts are in (N1 row 9)
Primary keyword: hypertune (brand) volume (US / global): 450 / 5,000 (Ahrefs, 5 Oct) difficulty: 0
Lead questions for the page goal: "is hypertune free" and "hypertune price" (N1 goal: top 3 for both)
Secondary keywords (with volumes): see the Keywords block in section 3
Search Console queries already showing for this topic (27 Aug to 30 Sep, from V12 and E1-5):
  - "is hypertune free", "hypertune free trial", "hypertune price": 821 impressions, 205 clicks, position 1.0 to 1.3.
In the 28 days to 5 Oct, "hypertune free trial" had 47.5% CTR but "is hypertune free" only 5.4%
(168 impressions): the current result does not answer the question.
  - "does hypertune work", "is hypertune worth it" (and "is hypertune good"): 418 impressions, 5 clicks, position 2.9 to 5.3.
Search intent: buyers checking the price, whether a free option exists, and whether Hypertune
will make a difference on their PC before they pay.

WHAT RANKS (top 5, non-forum, measured on [to measure by Som before Bobby's check]):
| # | URL | type | words | what it has that we must match |

QUESTIONS TO ANSWER (Search Console, V12, E1-5):
1. How much does Hypertune cost?
2. Is Hypertune free? Is there a free trial?
3. Does Hypertune work? Is Hypertune worth it?
4. What results should I expect, and how do I test it myself?
5. How do I cancel or get a refund?
6. Who is Hypertune for, and who is it not for?

SOURCES FOR FACTS AND SETTINGS:
- Hypertune: facts page mockup (21 Oct), trust page mockup (22 Oct), V13 fact sheet (master copy).
- Live hypertune.gg/pricing, fetched 25 Oct 2026 (prices, guarantee line, the "Try for free" footer).
- Test method: N1 "What every game page includes" (same scene, three runs, average FPS and 1% lows).
- Som's own test: none; this page makes no "tested by us" claim.

UI PATHS:
- Revert: Restore tab > most recent restore point > Restore (facts page, trust page).
- Cancel: sign in at hypertune.gg > account dashboard (facts page; trust page links
  https://hypertune.gg/client-portal/account).
- Turning features on: [UI path needed]. Trust page captions name the Optimize screen
(CPU, GPU, network, memory) and the Customize screen (Windows Debloating).

SCREENSHOTS NEEDED: price cards (existing live block); Optimize screen with features on;
an FPS overlay before and after on one game; Restore tab.

2. Proposed URL

Proposal: rewrite the existing https://hypertune.gg/pricing. Do not create /does-hypertune-work.

What the fetch found (Python urllib, User-Agent Mozilla/5.0, 25 Oct 2026):

URL Result
https://hypertune.gg/pricing 200, self-canonical, indexable (no noindex). Title "The cheapest upgrade you'll ever buy | Hypertune". H1 the same. 345 words: price cards ($119.88 struck through, $69.99 a year; $9.99 a month; "SAVE 42 %"), "Cancel anytime. 7 day money-back guarantee", the five setup steps, and the footer line "Try Hypertune for free for 7 days and see the difference." No structured data.
https://hypertune.gg/does-hypertune-work 404

Why a rewrite of /pricing:

  1. The page exists, is indexed and already carries the price cards. C1 and V12 both planned /pricing for "is hypertune free", "hypertune free trial" and "hypertune price" (821 impressions). C1's note that /pricing returns 404 is out of date.
  2. The 5.4% click rate on "is hypertune free" is a wording problem on a page Google already shows. Fixing the title, H1 and copy on that page is the fastest route to N1's top-3 goal.
  3. "Does Hypertune work" has only 418 impressions and is the same buyer at the same moment. A second URL would split a small brand query set across two thin pages. V12 saves "does hypertune work" for the benchmark method page later; when that page exists, this page links to it from the results section.
  4. Rule 7 already sends price lines to /pricing until the facts page goes live on 4 Nov, so other drafts link here today.

What the rewrite keeps: the price cards and the five setup steps as Kamil built them. What it replaces: the title, meta description, H1 and subhead. What it adds: the sections below the price cards.

3. Keywords

Primary: hypertune (brand). US 450 / global 5,000 a month, difficulty 0 (Ahrefs, 5 Oct; N1 row 9).

Secondaries (Ahrefs US / global, 5 Oct; Search Console 27 Aug to 30 Sep):

Is Hypertune free? Hypertune price, free trial and results

Hypertune is a paid Windows app. From 16 October 2026, Hypertune costs $9.99 a month or $69.99 a year, and the first payment has a 7-day money-back guarantee. [Austin to confirm] Hypertune's performance claim is below, and so is a simple way to measure it on your own PC inside those 7 days.

Up to 60% higher FPS; results vary by hardware and game. [Austin to confirm]

[Existing price cards stay here. Screenshot needed: none, the live block is used.]

How much does Hypertune cost?

From 16 October 2026, Hypertune costs $9.99 a month or $69.99 a year, in US dollars. [Austin to confirm] The yearly plan is shown against $119.88, which is twelve months at the monthly price. [Austin to confirm] Subscribers already on a yearly price keep that price. [Austin to confirm] The full price facts are on the Hypertune facts page.

Plan Price from 16 October 2026 Billed Money-back guarantee
Monthly $9.99 a month [Austin to confirm] Every month 7 days on the first payment [Austin to confirm]
Yearly $69.99 a year, shown against $119.88 [Austin to confirm] Once a year 7 days on the first payment [Austin to confirm]

Both Hypertune plans include every app feature. [Austin to confirm] Expert Tuning, one-on-one tuning with a technician, is a separate, optional paid service outside the subscription (about Expert Tuning).

Is Hypertune free?

Hypertune is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly, and every Hypertune plan is paid. [Austin to confirm] The low-risk way to try Hypertune is the 7-day money-back guarantee: subscribe, test Hypertune on your own games, and if you would rather have your money back, request a full refund within 7 days of that first payment. [Austin to confirm]

Download Hypertune only from hypertune.gg, after you sign up; the setup tutorial shows the install.

Is there a Hypertune free trial?

Hypertune's way to try before you commit is the 7-day money-back guarantee on the first payment. [Austin to confirm]

[Austin to confirm: live /pricing says "Try Hypertune for free for 7 days"; the facts page says there is no free version. If Austin approves a trial line here, it replaces this paragraph.]

Does Hypertune work?

Hypertune works by tuning the hardware and Windows settings on your PC, so the gain depends on your CPU, graphics card, memory and the games you play. Hypertune reads your CPU, GPU, memory and storage once, builds a profile for that PC, then applies only the features you turn on.

Where the extra FPS comes from

Hypertune's features, in the order the app lists them, each work on a different part of the PC. The technology page covers each one in full.

Feature What Hypertune changes Visual
CPU Overclocking Finds the fastest stable speed for your processor Screenshot needed: CPU Overclocking, Optimize screen
GPU Overclocking Tunes your AMD or NVIDIA card's clocks, voltage and power limits Screenshot needed: GPU Overclocking, Optimize screen
Windows Debloating Switches off background services that slow gaming down Screenshot needed: Windows Debloating, Customize screen
Network Optimizations Tunes your own network for lower ping and less packet loss Screenshot needed: Network Optimizations, Optimize screen
Memory Optimizations Runs RAM in a faster, lower-latency configuration Screenshot needed: Memory Optimizations, Optimize screen
Game Hub Applies settings profiles to individual games Screenshot needed: Game Hub with one game's profile

Game Hub profiles change in-game settings through each game's config files, which is the only way to change them, and that is all they change. Hypertune makes no unsafe changes.

What results to expect from Hypertune

Up to 60% higher FPS; results vary by hardware and game. [Austin to confirm] [Link: test method page, once published (E4-8).]

Hypertune's result on your PC depends on three things. The first is headroom: Hypertune stress-tests every overclock on your hardware and skips it if your cooling cannot hold it, so a well-cooled PC gets more from overclocking. The second is the game, since each game leans on the processor, graphics card and memory differently. The third is settings: part of any gain can come from Game Hub's in-game settings and part from hardware tuning, and the facts page will show the two separately once the test method is published.

Is Hypertune worth it?

Hypertune is worth it when the FPS it adds on your own PC is worth $9.99 a month or $69.99 a year to you. [Austin to confirm] The 7-day money-back guarantee on the first payment lets you decide with your own numbers instead of someone else's benchmark. [Austin to confirm]

How to test Hypertune yourself: measure FPS before and after

To test Hypertune, record your FPS in one game before you turn anything on, apply the features you want, then record it again in the same scene and compare the two. Run the test within 7 days of your first payment, so the money-back guarantee still applies. [Austin to confirm]

  1. Pick one game and one scene. Choose a game you play every week and a scene you can repeat exactly: same map, same spot, same in-game settings.
  2. Turn on an FPS counter. The game's own counter, the NVIDIA app or AMD Software overlay, PresentMon and CapFrameX are all free. PresentMon and CapFrameX also record your lows, the slowest frames you feel as stutter.
  3. Record three runs before Hypertune. Play the same scene for the same length of time three times, and note the average FPS and the lows.
  4. Turn on the Hypertune features you want. [UI path needed: where features are switched on; the trust page names the Optimize and Customize screens.] Leave Game Hub off for this first test, so it measures hardware tuning alone. Screenshot needed: the Optimize screen with features turned on.
  5. Record three runs after, with the same scene, length and in-game settings.
  6. Compare the averages in the table below. Then turn on Game Hub and run the test once more.
Run Before: average FPS Before: lows After: average FPS After: lows

Screenshot needed: an FPS overlay on the same scene before and after, with the game and date shown.

To put your PC back the way it was, open Hypertune, open the Restore tab, go to your most recent restore point and select Restore. Screenshot needed: the Restore tab.

How to cancel Hypertune or get a refund

Cancel Hypertune from your account dashboard at hypertune.gg at least 24 hours before your renewal date. The 7-day money-back guarantee covers the first payment of a subscription, and renewal charges after the first billing period are non-refundable. [Austin to confirm] The refund steps, what the guarantee covers and how to uninstall are on the Is Hypertune safe? page.

Your Hypertune subscription keeps running after you uninstall the app, so cancel from your account as well when you want billing to stop. The full terms are in section 29 of the Terms of Service.

Who Hypertune suits, and when another option fits better

Hypertune suits PC gamers on Windows 10 or Windows 11 who want more FPS from the hardware they already own, applied for them, with a restore point behind every change.

Hypertune suits you if

Another option suits you better if

Hypertune questions

Is Hypertune a one-time purchase?

Hypertune is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly. [Austin to confirm]

What PC do I need for Hypertune?

Hypertune needs Windows 10 or Windows 11, an Intel or AMD processor, an NVIDIA or AMD graphics card, and admin rights during install. The full requirements are on the facts page.

Can I undo Hypertune's changes if I stop using it?

Yes. Open Hypertune, open the Restore tab, go to your most recent restore point and select Restore. Hypertune also creates a restore point when you download it and at every Windows update.

Why do some sites list a different Hypertune price?

Hypertune's yearly price changed on 16 October 2026, and reviews written before then show older prices. The current price is $9.99 a month or $69.99 a year. [Austin to confirm]

Is Hypertune safe to use while I test it?

Yes. Hypertune applies only the features you turn on, stress-tests each overclock first and makes no unsafe changes. The Is Hypertune safe? page explains what each feature changes.

6. FAQ schema suggestion

Suggested only. V8 section 3 and C29 allow FAQPage markup on the homepage and /technology only, so this needs Bobby and Vinny to extend C29 to /pricing first (see the handover note). If C29 is not extended, ship the page with WebPage markup and no FAQPage.

8. Self-check (V8 section 6) and rule checks

Word count: about 1,415 words of page copy in section 5 (H1 to the end of the FAQ, tables included, tags and placeholders excluded), against a provisional target of 1,200. That is 18% over, inside the 20% band; Bobby may want the FAQ or the test table trimmed once the real top-5 median is measured.

# Check Result
1 Primary keyword is not the primary of another page Pass with a flag. C1 gives the homepage "game optimizer", so "hypertune" is not formally another page's primary. But the homepage FAQ (C29) already answers "How much does Hypertune cost?", "Will Hypertune work on my PC?" and "How do I cancel Hypertune?". Bobby to decide whether those move here
2 Title 50 to 60 characters, keyword near the start, "| Hypertune" at the end Pass: 53 characters
3 Meta 140 to 155 characters, contains the primary keyword Pass: 148 characters, "Hypertune" three times
4 One H1 with the primary keyword or a close variant Pass
5 Primary keyword in the first 100 words Pass: first word of the first sentence
6 Every secondary in an H2 or the first paragraph under one Pass: free, price, free trial, does it work, worth it all in headings
7 Answer in the first two sentences, quotable alone Pass
8 Length within 20% of the target Pass, just: 1,415 against the provisional 1,200 (18% over); top-5 median still to measure
9 Links out match the answer-page type; descriptive anchors Pass; three link targets are placeholders until URLs are set
10 Links in listed for Kamil Pass (section 7)
11 Images: file names, alt text, WebP under 200 KB Open: no images yet; nine "Screenshot needed" placeholders
12 URL short, lowercase, hyphens Pass: /pricing
13 Schema matches section 3 Flag: FAQPage here needs C29 extended; fallback is WebPage only
14 Self canonical, indexable, in the sitemap For Kamil after publishing. Live /pricing is self-canonical and indexable today; C1 says it is not in the sitemap
15 Request indexing after publishing For Bobby after publishing

Rule and fact checks (V8 sections 2 and 5, and this task's hard rules):

Check Result
Nine answer rules 1 pass (title and H1 use the question's words); 2 pass (each heading answers in its first lines and names Hypertune); 3 pass (paragraphs name Hypertune); 4 pass (prices carry "from 16 October 2026"); 5 pass (plans, features and the test are tables; free tools named fairly); 6 pass ("Last updated 25 October 2026"); 7 pass (price and partner lines link to the facts page; the performance figure has a placeholder for the test method link); 8 pass (own FAQ; Travis checks the answers); 9 not applicable (answer page, no byline; the stale "CompReady engineer" line is not used)
Em dashes None (searched the file)
"Hypertune" spelling Pass; no "HyperTune" or "HYPERTUNE"
FPS claim Exact wording only, twice: "Up to 60% higher FPS; results vary by hardware and game." No other percentage in the copy (no 41%, 42%, 148%; the FPS test says "lows" rather than "1% lows" for the same reason)
Game Hub line Exact approved wording, once, in "Where the extra FPS comes from" (rule 10: each fact once). No line saying Hypertune leaves game files alone
Partners Intel and AMD as partners; NVIDIA as "supports NVIDIA graphics cards" only. No NVIDIA logo requested
COMPREADY Not mentioned in the copy
Platforms Windows 10 and Windows 11 only; no Mac line
NEVER WRITE phrases None: no "trusted by", "verified by", "100% safe", "endorsed", "certified", "ban-proof", "undetectable", no free version offered, no creator names
Filler words None ("unlock", "seamless", "game-changer", "ultimate", "elevate" not used)
Trial in title or description Pass: the trial appears only in its own H3, as a question for Austin
Every price, trial and guarantee line tagged Pass: 21 [Austin to confirm] tags in the copy, plus 1 on the meta description
Affirmative language Pass: the copy states what Hypertune does; the one "no" is the facts page's own answer, kept inside Austin's trial note

Fact conflicts found:

  1. Free trial. The live /pricing page (fetched 25 Oct) ends with "Try Hypertune for free for 7 days and see the difference", and V8 says a 7-day free trial exists but is not featured. The facts page says "there is no free version of Hypertune" and does not mention a trial; the trust page does not mention one either. The draft follows the facts page and points to the guarantee, with a tag for Austin.
  2. The FPS claim. The facts page keeps "Up to 60% higher FPS" off the page until the test evidence arrives (E4-17), while the trust page FAQ uses it. This draft uses the exact approved line as the task requires, tagged, with a placeholder for the test method link. Austin decides whether the buyer page waits for E4-17 like the facts page.
  3. Outdated third-party price. Tom's Hardware still lists $59.99 a year; the facts page says $69.99 a year from 16 October 2026. The draft uses the facts page and adds a neutral FAQ answer about older prices. The correction request stays with outreach (E1-5).
  4. Refund email. The Terms of Service say support@compready.net; the trust page says info@hypertune.gg (facts page, open Austin item). This draft gives no email and links the trust page instead.
  5. Live /pricing lines that clash with the rules. The live page says "Hypertune is fully supported by every top anti-cheat", "Verified by all major anti-cheats" and "watch your FPS skyrocket", and the price card shows "SAVE 42 %". Austin's 10 Oct decision keeps the existing "Verified by" lines. The rewrite replaces the H1 and subhead (the anti-cheat line sits there); Austin and Travis to say whether the "SAVE 42 %" badge stays, since this page otherwise carries no percentage but the 60% claim.
  6. C1 is out of date on /pricing. C1 and V13 say /pricing returns 404 with noindex; on 25 Oct it returns 200, self-canonical and indexable. C1's conditional /pricing row needs updating to this title and meta.
  7. Homepage FAQ overlap and a stale line. C29's homepage FAQ answers the cost, "will it work" and cancel questions, so the homepage and this page would compete for the same questions and both carry FAQ markup. C29's homepage answer "Is Hypertune safe?" also says Hypertune "does not change files inside your games", which the 19 Oct rule forbids. Flag both to Bobby and Vinny; neither is changed here.

Also for Austin (no approved wording yet, so left out of the copy): what happens to applied optimizations after a subscription ends; whether a card is needed to start; checkout currencies other than US dollars.
